used to love looking at speakers and trying to get enough cash together to buy some

i remeber saving up enough to buy a brand new dual cs505 2 audiolab 8000a and a set of heybrook hb1's from kj west in london on a saturday morning circa 1986..we were working across the road that day..ffs i was excited on the drive home

Ive got an Audiolab 8000a but the RCAs on the back are knackered. Dont sound as good as the Techy amp tho Bozo. Moorgate Acoustics was our nearest Hi-Fi dealer, i was in there all the time. Bought all my Turntables from there.

One thing im proud of i never fell for the flat erf shite. Had a Linn TT & Naim Amps but they were just second hand cheap purchases, i never followed the Flat Erf rules

Snobbery with it all. Had to be British to be taken seriously. The plonkers would look down at you if you had Japanese stuff. Probably why you would not have it, this attitude would have been on your mind.
