The story of poet T.S.   Elliot's marriage ter his fust missis.

Like the film abart   C.S. Lewis, this turns ert ter be mower abart the writer's missis than the writer. Barelly skims over the poetry - if at all.

Vivienne was a free-spirit. In the end they 'ad 'er commited fer been disregardful of social propriety.
She spent 11 'eass in a (comfy, beautiful) mental asylum an' doid of heart failure. Elliot never visited 'er once. But she always stood up fer him.

Acress Miranda Richardson plays Viv with the same unpredictableness she 'ad in the Blackadder role.
You ood fink it poor casten, but turns ert William Defoe plays a pretty bostin Elliot (with voice not afar off - I should knoo because I yav Elliot on tape readen his poetry.)
