Wuthering Heights  Wot's yer fav sci-fi novel? - Page 2 3143813325 Chick fantasy shit.

50 Shades?  Without a doubt the worst book ever Published. Crap absolute Crap.
That is not literature it is Toilet Paper. As for the subject matter - pathetic story about pathetic people.  It is so badly written, it looks like it was penned by a dyslexic 12 Year Old Retard.

Science fiction can be interesting as a subject, but the writing is usually sub-par.

HERETIC!
One of the best ever.
As for favorite sci-fi book, probably Footfall by Larry Niven and Jerry Pornell.
Anything they do is good.
Ancient Shores by Jack McDevitt, for that matter anything by Jack McDevitt.
Ancient Shores and Moonfall are just two of the best.study

My absolute favourites:

Fahrenheit 451
The Martian Chronicles
1984
Brave New World
The Time Machine

Could read them time and time again.

Of course you could, they are classics.
And 1984 and Brave New World are not science fiction, they are Utopian novels.
Just a suggestion, but for the purpose of this thread, why don't we leave out the obvious?
Fahrenheit 451 (itself sometimes called utopian) is one of the few real novels of Bradbury, and the movie  was amazing, just so far ahead of its time.
And Robert Heinlein,  was anything he wrote bad? Same for Isaac Asimov.
And Clifford D. Simak, whose  City is a classic.
And Andre Norton, whose Zero Stone novels will always be loved.
Would probably be easier to list disliked S.F , the list would be shorter, study

I have lots of Andre Norton fantasy in the collection.
But, truth to tell , I find it hard going - not cos its brilliant or complex, but it takes a long time to say something - rather boring stories.

Asimov I won't read.
