american cars here hold their value like crazy..2 years ownership and i garantee i can get me 23k back anytime..
u try that shite with a bmw ?

their value drops like a stone

all cars become worthless in no time

except a few special cars..
porsche lambo ferrari ...u rekon a porsche 911 turbo will end up worth 1k in 10 years time like a bmw will?

Each Country is different Bozo.

That being said in any country the more fancy and expensive the car the more it looses value.

Range rovers are a fucking Joke those things shit bank notes even when they are parked.

Classic cars are an investment get the right one at the right price and it rockets in value.
Only problem you cant use it just got to park it and what is the point of that.
Porsche and Ferrari? got to be the right ones the rare ones if you want to invest.

Run of the mill ones from the 80's and 90's can be picket up for a relevant song if you got the money to keep them on the road that is.

road tax saving

250 quid a year

250 quid insrance saving

1k a year saving on fuel

1.5k a year saving over our last car..plus our old car needed new tyres (500 quid) and it needed a new cambelt (1k)

so in fact we are much better off bozo

1.5 k a year over 7 years = 10.5 k = R190 k in our money that is what I can live on over 3 years.

The Belt Replacements get silly pricey and if they break they trash the motor big time.
Road tax expensive there?  Here we pay about 15 UK Squid a year.

yes it is
mustang is 400 quid a year

the hyundai pays for itself see?

hyundai is cam chain and hydraulic valves...me work mate has a 2008 model diesel..it's gone 250 km's with only brakes n tyres.

every 5 years fitting a cambelt is a joke..here that shite costs a lot...our old car would have cost us much more over the next 5 years.
oh plus we got 5 years free breakdown cover..our old car cost 50 quid year for that

Some bloody Fool I know bought a Nissan Marano SUV.

Lost two thirds plus in its value in 3 years in fact he got even less than than a third on a trade in on a second hand Isuzu Pick Up.
The fucking thing used to spend months in the shop waiting for parts and then they always sent the wrong one.

Pick ups hold their value very well here but not the fancy yuppie ones just the basic work horses.
But they are a great theft risk, and the cunts love jacking them.
